Welcome to Mound Visit

Being that my collegiate baseball career will soon be coming to an end, I found myself thinking of ways that I can teach my knowledge of the game of baseball to young aspiring pitchers wanting to play past the high school level. Mound Visit is how I plan to do that. This blog will give subscribers advanced knowledge of the pitching side of baseball that many little league coaches and high school coaches don't incorporate into their programs. Over the next couples months, I will post instructional blogs that include pitching drills, mechanics, and mentality tips. If you apply these drills and tips on the field, I guarantee you will see progression on the mound.
Spring training is here and one of the best things any baseball player can do is watch and learn from the professionals themselves. Watch for the little things the pitcher does. For example, how is he attacking the hitter, is he starting the hitter off with a fastball each time, does he show emotion on the mound? Watching big leaguers is a good learning tool to incorporate into your own game.
